Activities at Ezingweni Safari Lodge and Day Bush Spa

Game drives

Ezingweni Safari Lodge and Day Bush Spa is home to a wide variety of both small and large antelope species, giraffe, zebra, warthog, bush pig.
Quad bikes and mountain bikes can be hired at reception (for game and scenic drives).

• Quad bikes 1 hour drive R100/person/hour & R200/person/2 hours
• Game drives on a 4x4 game viewing vehicle R100/person/hour

Please book your game drive with us through reception in advance.

Hiking trails

The farm’s topography and roads are suitable for private hiking trails at your own leisure without any risk. Guests are invited to take their own leisurely walks to experience the very best that nature has to offer. A wide variety of indigenous trees, plants and shrubs, as well as an array of bird species (240 bird species) forms part of the fauna and flora of the area and are enjoyed and respected by both our visitors and our staff. An early morning guided bush pig trail can be arranged for the more courageous guests.

Clay pigeon shooting

Please book in advance at reception. You hire a clay pigeon gun for R100 and each clay costs R12/shot.

Horseback riding

Book your horseback riding experience well in advance through reception. Cost for this activity is as follows:

• 90 minute ride R150/person
• 150 minute ride R250/person
• 200 minute ride R350/person
• Pony rides R50/child

Fun activities for the children (and young at heart)

Volleyball, pool, table tennis, darts can be played at the Restaurant’s recreation area. Swimming in one of the many waterholes in the river will let any person and child’s heart beat faster. Paintball games are booked at reception at R120/person, including the mask, paintball gun, ammunition and protective gear. Subsequent magazines with paintballs cost R50 (70 balls).
